MOBUMART: TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to the Mobumart community! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Mobumart. By using our site as a Buyer or a Vendor, you’re agreeing to the rules below.


1. WHAT IS MOBUMART?

Mobumart is a curated marketplace. We provide the technology that connects independent Sellers (“Vendors”) with Customers (“Buyers”).

  • We are the Middleman: Mobumart does not manufacture, store, or inspect the items sold through our platform.
  • The Risk: Because we don’t make the items, we can’t provide a manual guarantee for their quality or safety. Any legal claim regarding a product must be brought directly against the Vendor of that item.

2. VENDOR ACCOUNTS & SHOP STANDARDS

To sell on Mobumart, Vendors must:

  • Be Honest: Your shop name, bio, and product descriptions must be accurate. No “stock photos” unless they truly represent the item.
  • Be Responsive: Vendors must respond to Buyer inquiries within 2 business days.
  • Own the Rights: You must own the rights to the products you sell. Selling “knock-offs” or pirated goods will result in an immediate permanent ban.

3. FEES & GETTING PAID

  • Our Commission: Mobumart takes a [Insert %] commission on every successful sale. This helps us keep the lights on and market your products.
  • Payment Processing: We use secure third-party processors. Mobumart never sees or stores your full credit card or bank details.
  • The “Safety Buffer”: To ensure Buyers receive their items, payouts to Vendors are triggered after the tracking number shows “Delivered.”

4. SHIPPING & FULFILLMENT

  • The Clock is Ticking: Vendors must ship items within their stated “Handling Time.” If no time is stated, the default is 3 business days.
  • Tracking is King: For your protection as a Vendor, all items must be shipped with a valid tracking number uploaded to the Mobumart dashboard.

5. RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS, & DISPUTES

  • Vendor Policies: Every Vendor on Mobumart can set their own return policy (e.g., “No Returns” or “30-Day Returns”). This must be clearly visible on the product page.
  • The Mobumart Exception: Regardless of a Vendor’s “No Return” policy, if an item arrives broken, significantly different than described, or never arrives at all, Mobumart will step in to ensure the Buyer receives a refund.
  • Mediation: If a Buyer and Vendor can’t agree, click the “Open a Dispute” button. Our team will review the messages and tracking info to make a final call.

6. CONTENT & BOTS

  • Your Content: You keep the rights to your photos and descriptions, but you give Mobumart permission to use them to promote your shop on social media and ads.
  • No Scraping: Using automated bots to “scrape” prices or data from Mobumart is strictly prohibited.

7. CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT

  • By You: You can close your account at any time, provided all open orders have been fulfilled.
  • By Us: We hate to do it, but we may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly break these rules or provide a poor experience for our community.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Mobumart is not liable for any lost profits, lost data, or items that go missing in the mail. We provide the platform “as-is.”
